Founded in 1961 by Dr. Bill Ard, White Rock Animal Hospital has served the East Dallas, Lochwood, Lake Highland, Lakewood and Northeast Garland neighborhoods for over 58 years. Located at the corner of Northwest Highway and Jupiter Road, the veterinarian is one of the few original businesses still in operation on what was once the home of most of the Dallas new car dealerships, and across the street from the original Dallas-Garland Airport in the 60's and early 70's.

Dr. Bob HawthorneDr. Bob Hawthorne was born and raised in the Lake Highlands area. Bob graduated from Lake Highlands High School and Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1978. He lives in Lakewood with his wife Mireya and three college students. Kathlynn [Duke], Trapp [OU], and Leah [Georgia]. Their home is shared with 4 dogs and 3 cats! His interests include cooking, landscaping and college football. Bob's professional interests center around surgery, internal medicine, dermatology and geriatric medicine.

Dr. Patty WilliamsDr. Patty Williams grew up in Dallas. Patty graduated form Hillcrest High School and Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. She lives in Old Lake Highlands with her husband Mark and 2 children Tyler [Oklahoma State], and Katy [Texas Tech]. She shares her home with 3 cats and a rabbit. Patty's interests include English Riding, watching Katy compete in equestrian events, raising Golden Retrievers and snow skiing.
Patty's professional interests include Emergency Medicine and Critical Care; Patty is on staff at MedVet Dallas in the CCU/Emergency department.
This depth of experience is the basis for our many referrals and second opinion appointments from the entire Dallas Fort Worth area. We welcome all new patients, young and old - new pet owners and experienced pet lovers, breeders, show dog owners and handlers, and pet adopters for local Humane shelters and breed rescue organizations.

Connie DaviesHead Veterinary TechnicianConnie grew up in the suburbs of Dallas, and has been a Vet Technician for over 25 years. She started at White Rock in 1993, then took time off in 1998 to be a stay at home Mom to Aaron and Sarah. She returned to WhiteRock in 2008. Connie is married to Philip, and shares their home with theirs labs, Boogie and Dixie. Connie's interests away from the office include camping [Glamping], Moto GP racing and cooking....ask about her Carnitas! Her guilty pleasure is Reality TV.
